Chet Deshmukh, MBA, OTR/L, OT(C), CDIP, CHDA 
CEO and Program Director 

Chet is an Occupational Therapist and Hand Injury Rehabilitation Specialist. He has earned board certification and advanced training in the management of hand and upper extremity injuries. Chet has worked with notable institutions in North Carolina. He is a recognized speaker for the Duke Orthopedics Residency program called "Leaving the Duke Nest" for orthopedic residents and fellows who are leaving the residency program. Chet also worked with UNC Chapel Hill - Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation - Occupational Therapy Department serving patients with Orthopedic and Neurologic disorders including Stroke and Spinal Cord Injuries.

Chet's experience includes specialization and training from the Kessler Institute for Rehabilitation /UMDNJ - New Jersey and training from the Hand Rehabilitation Center in Philadelphia, PA. He demonstrated proficiency in Hand Rehabilitation by attaining his certification in Hand Therapy in 1994 from the Hand Therapy Certification Commission (HTCC). He is a recognized speaker for the American Society of Hand Therapists (ASHT), a society for therapists specializing in hand injury management.

Kanchan Akmanchi, OTR/L, CHT 

Kanchan is a Consulting Occupational Therapist and Hand Injury Rehabilitation Specialist. She has earned board certification and advanced training in the management of hand and upper extremity injuries. She holds advanced certifications and training in Work Injury Management, Ergonomics and Functional Capacity Evaluations.

Kanchan attained her initial certification in Hand Therapy in 1995 from the Hand Therapy Certification Commission (HTCC). She is a member of the the American Society of Hand Therapists (ASHT), a society for therapists specializing in hand injury management and the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA).

Her analytic skills combined by her compassion for excellent outcomes helps her patients achieve their desired functional outcomes.
